THE NAME / RECLAIMED
VERDANT WAS
NEVER MEANT
TO BE POLITE.
They use the word for lawns, gardens, clean little places kept in line. We use it for the weed splitting a parking block in half.
Verdant started with a board, a borrowed screen press, and a refusal to make another sterile streetwear label. The underground already had enough uniforms. We wanted evidence.
